We build custom software around the way your business works. That could be a customer database, a project tracker, a digital asset library, a review and approval tool, or a simpler way to handle one repetitive task.
Is custom software right for a small business?
It can be—especially when your team spends time copying information, working around software limitations, or paying for subscriptions with features you rarely use. We start with the problem and help you work out whether a custom tool makes sense.
Can you replace the subscriptions we already use?
Sometimes. A custom tool may replace several subscriptions or reduce your reliance on them. Other services are worth keeping. We look at what you need, what you already have, and where a purpose-built tool could offer better value.
02 / Choose how it runs.
Yours to own.
Can you connect to our existing tools?
Where those services support it, yes. We can connect your software to existing company services such as email, payments and other platforms. We’ll identify any limitations and ongoing service costs before agreeing on the build.
Do I own the software?
Yes. You own the code we build for you, whether you manage your own accounts or choose management by Purposemade. Any necessary third-party services and plugins retain their own licenses, terms and fees. Sometimes external services make sense to integrate.
What are the two management options?
Manage your accounts: We set it up and provide handover and guidance. You manage your hosting and service accounts, pay providers directly, and can choose an optional Purposemade maintenance plan.
Managed by Purposemade: We manage your hosting and connected services on one platform, with an ongoing fee and one team to contact for updates, troubleshooting and support.
03 / Clear scope. Practical decisions.
A useful investment.
Useful AI. Human judgment.Illustrative concept
How much does a project cost?
The cost depends on what the tool needs to do, how many workflows it supports, and which services it connects to. We’ll define the scope and explain the build cost and expected ongoing costs before work begins.
Does every project need AI?
No. We use AI within your apps functionality where it helps solve a useful problem, such as finding answers in company files or sorting incoming requests. Many workflows are better served by straightforward software. People stay in control of the decisions that matter.
04 / A clear path forward.
What comes next.
What happens after launch?
That depends on your management option and agreed support plan. We can provide handover and guidance, optional maintenance, or ongoing management through Purposemade. We’ll make those responsibilities clear before launch.
How do we get started?
Start with one workflow. Tell us what slows your team down, what you use today, and what you wish worked better. You don’t need a technical brief—we’ll help shape the next step.
